The diverse menu showcase includes caviar, a salumi and cheese tasting, lamb chops and braised short ribs. Souffl&#233; for dessert is highly recommended. Reservations typically fill up in advance. Valet parking is available Thursday through Saturday.

Matthew's Restaurant

The trendy eatery is located in one of Jacksonville's oldest neighborhoods and makes a great spot for dining with friends. The entr&#233;e selection can be a real challenge in decision making. I recommend the tender and well-seasoned short ribs which are a house favorite. Dessert should not be missed. The pastry chef delivers well on delicious macarons that have an amazing texture.

Black Sheep Restaurant

The cozy, upscale restaurant features attentive staff and a menu deeply focused on fine-quality ingredients sourced from local farms, ranches and waters. Enjoy the house-made charcuterie and the in-house cured and smoked Maple Leaf bacon. Entr&#233;es include P.E.I. mussels, lobster pot pie and braised beef short ribs with truffle fries. Hints of various ethnic influences are infused throughout the menu. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday.

Restaurant Orsay

Tucked away on the edge of a shopping plaza, this is a great spot for those familiar with Vietnamese cuisine or for the adventurous type seeking something different. Menu features include an array of sandwiches made with pork, meatballs and spicy tofu. Fish cakes, noodle and rice dishes, and the popular national dish pho (a hearty soup) are among the menu selections. Be sure to order a refreshing boba infused beverage such as a smoothie, a slushie or tea.

Q-Cup Boba Tea

Filled with warm Italian hospitality, this popular neighborhood restaurant serves generous portions of pasta, chicken, fish and veal. Menu favorites include the meatball and sausage platter, and the baked lasagna; both are very flavorful and satisfying. The separate bar area is ideal for relaxing and listening to live music before or after dinner. The doors open at 4 p.m. for dinner.

Enza's Italian Restaurant

Located in a strip mall near the airport, this eatery is wildly popular with locals. The descriptive menu and helpful staff make it easy to navigate the offerings. Entrees include a wide selection of tandoori, curry, and vegetarian dishes. A full vegan menu is also available. The bullet naan bread is a must try. It&#8217;s delicious on its own with garlic, chili and butter and it&#8217;s also the perfect compliment to any dish, especially to soak up the savory tikka masala sauce. 

Masala Mantra - The Indian Bistro

The restaurant sits in an inviting, historic wood-framed house with a large porch that offers patio dining. The seafood is received daily ensuring freshness. Menu options include sandwiches, smoked local fish dip, Alaskan snow crab legs and fried shrimp. For a special treat, order the whole fried fish. It's impressive. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff members friendly and welcoming.

OP Fish House and Oyster Bar

Named for its location on the Intracoastal Waterway, the restaurant offers nice views from most areas of the dining room. Emphasizing seafood sourced from local waters and farms, the menu includes blue crab cakes, select oysters, New Bedford scallops, Atlantic salmon and Yellowfin tuna. For meat lovers, the steak and chicken options are delicious. The restaurant has a casual vibe and a charming d&#233;cor.
