Overview
Roatan, one of the Bay Islands off the Honduras coast, has long been known as a diving mecca. And it’s only getting better. It's also a good place for divers of all levels offering shallow dives, walls, wrecks, and areas with drop-offs, caverns and swim-throughs for the more adventurous. If you are traveling with non-divers, many dive operators offer snorkeling adventures in the same locations as the dives so everyone can enjoy the clear waters and fantastic visibility The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, which surrounds our resort in Roatán, Honduras, is second only to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in terms of size. What’s more, many people consider our reef to be in the best condition in the world with awe-inspiring coral gardens, dazzling sponges, and fascinating caves and wrecks.
