We are working with a group of very experienced local Guides and Porters. The porter have an association where all their welfare is taken care of. We are the Only company with a GUARANTEED daily Departure. No last minute postponements. At our base Hotel in Moshi we have a warehouse full of ALL mountain equipments and gear for Hire at a small fee. No need to travel to Tanzania with a BIG luggage.We have Jackets and boots Rain coat Sleeping bags and walking sticks. Waterproof duffel bags for your luggage ETC Also called the Whisky Route.This is a popular route up steep paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to the Shira Plateau.It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields to join the Barafu Route to the summit. The Mweka Route is used for the descent. Accommodation on the mountain is in tents, which the porters will pitch for you.
