Overview
What sets our tour apart is the rare opportunity to step into a real, working alpaca and llama farm — not just observe from a distance. Located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, our one-hour+, hands-on experience invites guests of all ages and abilities to connect with animals in a meaningful, memorable way. Unlike standard petting zoos or walk-through tours, you’ll feed treats, learn how to halter and handle alpacas, give them baths on warm days, and — depending on the season — meet baby alpacas (called crias) and their moms. You may even witness a live birth or breeding session, as this is a full-time textile farm where life unfolds in real time. Perfect for animal lovers, families, and adventure seekers alike, our group format ensures a personal, immersive experience that’s both educational and unforgettable. ✨ If your preferred time slot is full on Viator, we often have more availability on our website:

- We understand that mobility can be a concern, especially for those who may have difficulty walking longer distances. As a working farm, our property includes uneven terrain such as gravel, dirt roads, and natural rocks, which may present challenges for some guests. That said, our tours move at a relaxed, comfortable pace with plenty of time to enjoy the animals. If you're able to walk approximately 100 yards from the parking area to the barn, we have a shaded swinging chair where you can rest and take in the views. We're also happy to bring alpacas over to you for up-close interactions, so you can still enjoy the experience without navigating the full tour route. We want everyone to feel welcome here and will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you have questions or would like help planning your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
