Part of the cultural experience of San Miguel de Allende is located just 25 minutes away from the city: The Sanctuary of Jesus of Nazareth in Atotonilco. The so-called Sistine Chapel of México offers visitors and locals one of the deepest expressions of art, culture, history, and faith. A church built back in the 1700´s that marvels the people that get the opportunity to walk through its doors. On this tour you will learn about the historical and cultural importance of this place on the designation of UNESCO back in 2008.
