Overview
Bandipur is a traditional Newari village settlement in Tanahu district. It is located in the top of Dumre town. The village is naturally and culturally beautiful to explore many thing inside the village which is also not so far from Kathmandu. Historically, the Bandipur was trading transit point for Tibet and India trading routes. Later, the trader from Bhakapur and Kathmandu started staying and they are able to set up their culture in the right place. Now a days, it is one of the famous place for domestic as well as international travelers. There are many attraction in Bandipur where traveler can do such as: hike in Siddhi cave or Thani mai temple, visit religious Khadgdevi Temple, cycling, village walking. And likewise, we can also have a good view of Himalayan ranges including Annapurna, Manaslu, Gaurishankar and many more.
