The Elephanta Caves are a network of ancient rock-cut temples located on Elephanta Island, near Mumbai, India. Dating back to between the 5th and 8thyears centuries, these caves are renowned for their elaborate sculptures dedicated primarily to Hindu deities, including the impressive Trimurti, a 20-foot sculpture of a three-headed Shiva.
