Overview
The Belvedere is one of the leading museums worldwide. Its famous art collection includes works ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day. Highlight at the Upper Belvedere is the collection of paintings by Klimt with the iconic Kiss and works by Schiele and Kokoschka. Entry ticket only (no guided tour included). Visitors may proceed to the museums entrance directly and enjoy their visit individually. Exhibition Highlights: CARLONE CONTEMPORARY: Elmar Trenkwalder: November 6, 2025 - March 14, 2026 IN-SIGHT: Johann Baptist "Lampi the Elder and the Younger": May 16, 2026 - October 11, 2026 For the upcoming facade renovation on the lake side of the Upper Belvedere, scaffolding will be erected. During this time, the entrance area will not be affected. This measure aims for completion by Q4 2025.
