Ostia Antica is a large archaeological site, close to the modern suburb of Ostia (Rome). At the mouth of the River Tiber, Ostia was Rome’s seaport. It is noted for the excellent preservation of its ancient buildings, magnificent frescoes and impressive mosaics. If you wish to spend a nice morning touring outside of Rome this is a very good option. For last minute bookings (less than 30 days) we reserve the right to offer you alternatives or free cancellations if we are unable to carry out the service as described.
