A colorful and tasty tour around Levinsky market. Levinsky market, named after the Jewish Russian author Elhanan Leib Levinsky, was built as a trading center for the residents of the new city of Tel Aviv. Bulgarian, Bukharan, Persian, Balkan, Polish and North African newcomers mixed together to create the rich and unique blend of spices and delicacies that make the market we know and love today. The years have seen this market change from a spice wholesale center to a lively, bustling market with high quality stores and restaurants from a variety of flavors and cultures. Together we will tour the market and taste different delicacies. This is an easy walking tour fit for all ages. Walking shoes, a hat and water are recommended. Please note - The tour is subject to a minimum of 6 registered participants.
