Overview
Sailing on the pirate ship, the Santa Maria, we will take you back to the 15th century. The Santa Maria is the copy of Cristopher Columbus flag ship. It was built in Câmara de Lobos in 1998. During this journey you will enjoy beautiful sceneries over the south coast of the island and the beautiful crystal clear waters. Keep an eye out for the region’s vibrant marine life, playful dolphins, turtles, or even whales might make an appearance. Relax aboard, bask in the golden Portuguese sun, or sip a cocktail available to purchase from the ship’s bar. Be sure to capture the dramatic cliffs of Cabo Girão, Europe's highest sea cliff at 1,932 feet (589 meters), for the perfect photo opportunity. In addition, savor Madeira’s essence with a slice of Madeiran honey cake and a dram of Madeira wine, a taste of history and tradition.
