Overview
Constance is the city that gives its name to Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany. Disputed by Celts and Romans, the city prospered in the Middle Ages. Due to its proximity to Switzerland, the city was not bombed during World War II. This way it preserved its original historic center. In addition to Constance, you will also visit Meersburg, a picturesque town with its medieval castle.
