Overview
St. Anthony Monastery is the oldest life Coptic Orthodox monastery in the world, was built in the middle of the desert, in the fourth century With Sjptours you will enjoy visiting the oldest church, the garden, the water creek, and the panorama of the monastery. You can get on the steps up the mountain to the cave where Sant Anthony used to live ( optional without payment ). A monk will join us in the monastery to explain about the numbers and jobs of the monks They normally explain about the liturgy of the orthodox Coptic churches. I will pick you up from your hotel wherever you stay, in an air-conditioning car to the Monastery.
