Overview
The Palm Monorail takes visitors on a picturesque journey along the length of Palm Jumeirah – the city's most famous man-made island and an iconic Dubai neighbourhood. A distinctive mode of public transportation that first opened in 2009, it is exclusive to the island and equally impressive in design. The elevated monorail begins its linear journey from the Gateway station at the entry to The Palm, where there are close links to a Dubai Tram stop and over 1,600 parking spots that are free to use for up to three hours. Passengers will pass by Golden Mile Galleria, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, The Pointe and the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark station, which is the final stop on the journey. The 5.5km line's lofty position means that you can get some fantastic views of the island and its fascinating architecture. The Palm Monorail runs at regular intervals, open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm
