Overview
Discover the highlights of the Wachau on this half-day tour that combines culture and nature. The tour begins in Dürnstein, where you can explore the old town and castle ruins. Continue to Weißenkirchen, a charming wine village, and the fortified church of St. Michael, an impressive medieval structure. Afterward, visit the historic town of Spitz an der Donau, surrounded by vineyards. Another highlight is the Aggstein Castle ruins, perched high above the Danube. The tour ends with visits to Emmersdorf and the splendid Melk Abbey, a baroque masterpiece. A short stop in Krems rounds out the experience.
