Overview
If you love animals and want an animal interaction experience, this is for you! Meet elephants on foot in their natural environment. You will get to experience how they sound, how they eat, what size they grow to and their unique social interactions for yourself. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Nearby is the Monkey Sanctuary which is inside a beautiful natural forested area where rescued monkeys and lemurs are free roaming. Often the monkeys will jump on your shoulder to catch a ride or see what is new in their world. Their antics will make you laugh and the monkey carers even know them by name and can tell you their personal stories. You will also learn more about their family units, how they forage for food and their life cycle. The walk through the forested area is by means of a wooden platform and there is also a cool swinging bridge with amazing views of the surrounding rocky outcrop.
