Overview
Dobruja is an wonderful historic region that boasts fascinating archaeological sites and beautiful landscapes. Winter is an exceptional season for birders and photographers, the perfect place to see a lot of geese, including the famous Red-breasted Goose, Whooper Swans and many raptors. This winter tour, is a lovely combination of photography and birdwatching. Thousands of geese wintering here, sleeping at night on the lakes and swamps and grazing on day light on fields cultivated with cereals. Please have on you, cameras and binoculars. In case we can't get close enough to the birds for (photo) shooting, we will just enjoy their presence and see them through binoculars or scopes.
