About HarrisonThe “Gateway to the Buffalo River,” Harrison is the center of a rustic resort community in the valley of Crooked Creek, one of the most scenic sections of the Arkansas Ozarks. The town is home to the two-year North Arkansas College.

Running from the state's northern border through Hot Springs National Park and ending in Arkadelphia, SR 7 encompasses lofty mountains and numerous lakes and rivers. The road is popular for leisurely drives and photographic opportunities. En route to Hot Springs, SR 7 crosses two national forests, the Ozark and the Ouachita, and the Buffalo National River.
