Silver Dollar City is 5 mi. w. on SR 76W to Indian Point Rd., then about .4 mi. s. on Silver Dollar City Pkwy. to the entrance. This theme park combines the atmosphere of an 1880s Ozark pioneer village with 21st-century rides and thrills, and plays host to festivals throughout the year. Rides include the Outlaw Run roller coaster, which boasts the world's first triple inversions and double-barrel roll on a wooden coaster, and Time Traveler, a spinning roller coaster with a 10-story vertical drop. Other attractions include the PowderKeg roller coaster, which goes from 0 to 53 mph in 2.8 seconds; the multi-looping WildFire; Thunderation, a runaway mine train; and the Giant Barn Swing, which launches riders more than seven stories and nearly upside down. Fireman's Landing features rides and attractions with a volunteer firefighter recruitment fair theme.

The Grand Exposition, modeled after the renowned World's Fairs and expositions held since the mid-19th century, features family-themed rides. Performances are given daily on various stages throughout the park, including music and comedy shows in the 4,000-seat Echo Hollow Amphitheater. Artisans demonstrate woodcarving, blacksmithing, leatherwork, pottery making, furniture making and glassblowing; many of their beautiful creations are for sale.

Silver Dollar City also has a well-deserved reputation for serving up some of the country's tastiest theme park food. The Culinary & Craft School presents courses on food preparation, including breads, cookies, pies and soups. Attendees can partake in hands-on demonstrations, taste samples and take home recipes compiled by the school's culinary artisans and guest chefs.
