AAA Editor Notes
Fallingwater, on SR 381 at 1491 Mill Run Rd., was a weekend home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935 and was entrusted to Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in 1963. Constructed of reinforced concrete and native stone, the house is dramatically cantilevered over a waterfall. The famous house blends so well with the mountainous terrain that it seems to grow out of its site. It has been acclaimed by the American Institute of Architects. Self-guiding grounds tours, 1-hour guided house tours, 2-hour in-depth tours and other special tours are offered. A visitor center is on-site.

Guided tours are available. Food is available.
