Bazaar Meat by José Andrés
2535 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
Unlike most steak restaurants, you can opt to order a few of the small plates to get a sampling of steaks, tartare, ceviche or whatever combination best suits your palate. In this AAA Four Diamond® restaurant, the food is cooked in an open kitchen, and you should consider adding an impressively prepared specialty cocktail to your meal.Read MoreAAA / Inspector 39

This restaurant is a great stop for lunch when shopping in Las Vegas. Dim sum and tacos as well as noodles and ceviche live side by side on this menu that features Chinese and Mexican inspired flavors. The barbecue pork steam buns made with homemade bread are particularly tasty. You’ll also get a show as these delectable dishes are prepared in an open kitchen.Read Moreflickr / Paul Sableman
Downtown Container Park
707 Fremont St.
If you want to experience Las Vegas like a local, leave the Strip and head toward Fremont Street. Downtown Container Park is a curious grouping of shops, where you’ll be greeted with a giant metal praying mantis that occasionally shoots fire from its antennae. But what’s most unique is that the shops in this outdoor mall are housed in old shipping containers.
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
3500 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
With escalators that curve up to reach each floor of this multilevel mall, shoppers bask in Vegas’s version of Grecian finery replete with columns and frescoes. Enjoy wandering through your choice of 160 high-end and mid-range stores. When you need a break from shopping, catch the animatronic show at the Fall of Atlantis fountain and be sure to check out the myriad fish in the 50,000-gallon aquarium.AAA / Inspector 39
Gordon Ramsay Steak
3655 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
Gordon Ramsay lives up to his celebrity chef status at his steak restaurant fashioned in bright blue and red, Londonesque décor. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu options, but we think the American Wagyu rib cap is best on the menu. If you aren’t watching calories too closely, save room for Ramsay’s traditional British dessert of sticky toffee pudding.Courtesy of The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian

Grand Canal Shoppes
3377 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian is not simply a mall, but a true Vegas-style experience. Once inside, you’ll find that you are not only shopping in Las Vegas, you are meandering the streets of Venice with blue skies overhead or if you prefer, floating down the canal in a gondola. To complete the Romanesque atmosphere, street performers dressed in costumes reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance entertain throughout the day.flickr / Stacy

After a long day of shopping you can meet up for a romantic date with your special someone or an elegant dinner with friends at this AAA Four Diamond restaurant. With fresh flowers and calm, light-wood tones, this dining experience is a reprieve from the typical sensory overload that permeates Vegas. You can try the signature lobster pot pie or ask your server what’s best on the seasonally changing menu, and wine lovers will appreciate the sommelier’s recommendations.Read MoreAAA / Inspector 511
Shops at ARIA
3730 Las Vegas Blvd S
The Shops at ARIA may not be the biggest mall on the Strip, but if you are in the mood to casually stroll and window shop or spend some of your jackpot winnings, this is a fantastic option. ARIA’s décor is very clean and modern, and perhaps, best of all are the art displays. You will have the opportunity to admire paintings and sculptures in the two galleries.
The Shops at Crystals
3720 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
This over-the-top, luxurious shopping mecca features designer brands and jewelry as well as art installations and water features. One of the more unique works is a series of multicolor lit tubes, each containing a water cyclone. Whether window shopping or ready to make some unique purchases, you’ll never get lost with a three-story treehouse in the center of the mall. If you have any questions, head over to the base of the treehouse to visit the concierge desk.
