Unmanaged and unspoiled, the beach itself is a mere dash of golden sand, fronted by a startling turquoise sea with calm water, which is ideal for snorkeling away from the crowds.
The basics
Agios Sostis Beach is a public beach that’s open to anyone who can reach it via the dirt road that runs down the peninsula. Most travelers arrive by car, but there are some cruises from Paros or Antiparos town that may pass by the beach as they follow the coastline south to Faneromeni at the peninsula’s tip.
Things to know before you go
Bring a snorkel mask and flippers to make the most of the clear, shallow waters here.
There are no restrooms, cafés, or shops on the beach or nearby.
Pack your own water and an umbrella for shade.
How to get there
The best way to reach this beach is by car, traveling south along the dirt road from Soros. You can also cycle or drive an all-terrain vehicle there, although it’s a dusty route. Alternatively, there are some summertime coach tours or shore excursions to Antiparos’ south, which may offer a short stop for photos at the beach.
When to get there
While the beach is rarely busy, don’t expect to be the only visitors in the peak season months of July and August. While the weather is typically warm from April onwards, the sea reaches its highest temperatures in the late summer and usually stays pleasant for swimming through October.

While Agios Sostis Beach is regularly slated as one of the top beaches on Antiparos, there’s no shortage of other great beaches on this island. If you’re looking for a beach closer to the main town, check out Glyfa Beach, which is just off the main road of Antiparos. For a beach with atmosphere and water sports, head to Psaraliki 1 and 2, which offer pedal boat rentals, windsurfing, and a lively beach bar.
