Located beneath the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Aquaria KLCC is home to more than 5,000 aquatic and marine animals from more than 150 species. The 60,000-square-foot (5,574-square-meter) aquarium exhibits flora and fauna from around Malaysia and from areas across the world.
The Basics
Aquaria KLCC is both a family-friendly aquarium and a conservation center. Highlights include a wave tank, a simulated glass-bottomed boat ride, and a 295-foot (90-meter) glass tunnel with a moving walkway that takes you through tanks full of giant stingrays, sand tiger sharks, sea turtles, and tropical fish. If you want a closer look at the animals, you can book a Dive with Sharks or a Cage Rage experience.

How to Get There
To reach Aquaria KLCC via public transportation, take a Rapid KL train to the KLCC station, which is a 5-minute walk from the aquarium, or take the KL Monorail to Raja Chulan station, which is a 10-minute walk away. Hop-on hop-off sightseeing buses also stop directly outside.
When to Get There
Aquaria KLCC is open daily from the early morning until evening. The aquarium’s staff hold animal feedings and other educational events throughout the day; check the schedule for exact times.
