Belantis

The Basics

Belantis is spread across several themed worlds ranging from ancient Egypt to the North American prairielands, with a sprawling lagoon at the center. A team of costumed Nickelodeon characters roams the park, to the delight of the younger guests. Save time at the entrance by booking your admission ticket in advance, or choose a season pass or package that includes accommodation with local partner hotels.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Belantis is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.

• You’ll find restaurants and food kiosks throughout the park.

How to Get There

Belantis is located right off the A38 highway, about a 20-minute drive south of central Leipzig. If you don’t have a car, take S-Bahn 5, 5x, or 6 to Markkleeberg, then hop on bus 105. Or, bike on the paved cycling paths between Leipzig and the park, about a 40-minute trip.

When to Get There

Belantis opens the first weekend of April and closes after the first weekend of November. The park is open daily from late May through the first week of September. Check the Belantis website for specifics.

Special Events at Belantis

Belantis offers all sorts of special programs throughout the year. At the beginning of summer, there’s a party with live electronic music—then summer wraps up with a back-to-school celebration, Zuckertütenfest (named for cones of sweets customarily given to schoolkids at the beginning of the term). Halloween is celebrated throughout October and features an abundance of spooky costumed characters, themed shows, and evening fireworks displays.
