To experience Arkansas' natural beauty, head to the Blue Spring Heritage Center, just outside of Eureka Springs. The historic site was once a trading post for Osage Indians and a renewal site for the Cherokee people during the Trail of Tears march. Today, the center is celebrated for its gardens, walking trails, and blue waters.
The Blue Spring produces millions of gallons a day of some of the purest water in the region, which flows into a trout-filled lagoon and the White River. Learn about Native American history in the region at the Bluff Shelter, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; visit the memorial explaining the role Blue Spring played in the Trail of Tears; and see a film documenting the Blue Spring underwater cave. Then take a stroll through the site’s many gardens, and soak up the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Most visitors head to the center while exploring sights around Eureka Springs or as part of a camping trip, as there are several campgrounds nearby. The center offers same-day entry and holds events and classes.
Kids ages 6–17 receive discounted admission.
The center often hosts crafting classes, exhibits, and educational programs.

The Blue Spring Heritage Center is just west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The most convenient way to visit is by car. Take US Highway 62 to Country Road 210. You'll find the heritage center at 1537 County Road 210.
The Blue Spring Heritage Center is open seasonally, from March 15 to the second Sunday in November. Though the center features diverse gardens that bloom throughout the year, spring offers the most spectacular flowers.
