Captain Hook Cancun
AvenidasLopez Portillo, Cancun, Quintana Roo, 77520
Aboard a Cancun-based Captain Hook pirate ship, spend a family-friendly evening that includes a buffet dinner served by salty seamen, dancing on the deck, and imbibing at an open bar. The 18th-century Spanish galleon replicas cruise the Caribbean while “pirates” entertain the crowd with tales of past escapades and dramatic sword fights.
The Basics
Each 93-foot-long (28-meter) ship—namedEl Galleon I,El Bucanero II, andThe Black Pearl—in the Captain Hook fleet can hold up to 285 passengers. Although the vessels look old-world, they are thoroughly modern, with up-to-date sound and video systems and air-conditioned areas. The included dinner comprises lobster, chicken, steak, or a surf-and-turf combo, as well as vegetables, salad, baked potato, rice, and dessert. Wash it down with drinks from the open bar while live enemy attacks, complete with swords and pistols, take place throughout the night.
