Perched on cliffs overlooking the ocean, Corales Golf Club is considered one of the most scenic courses in the Caribbean. Located in the exclusive Punta Cana Resort and Club, the 18-hole par 72 course was the first Tom Fazio-designed course in the country and is a PGA Tour stop.
The basics
The course at Corales Golf Club provides golfers with a visually stunning and challenging course around natural cliffs, coves, quarries, and inland lakes. The course is known for its last three holes, known as the Devil’s Elbow, which requires players to shoot over a dramatic cliff. A full-service driving range is available to warm up before teeing off. Book your tee time independently or opt for a package that includes transfers from Punta Cana area hotels.
Things to know before you go
Book your tee times in advance to avoid disappointment. Facilities include a clubhouse, bar and grill, and drink carts. Caddies are required at Corales Golf Club. The most visually striking sections are holes 7 to 9 and 16 to 18.

Corales Golf Course is within the Punta Cana Resort and Club, just 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) from Punta Cana and 2 miles (3 kilometers) from Punta Cana Airport. Some tour packages include transfers from Punta Cana area hotels.
When to get there
The best time for golf in the Punta Cana region is between December and April, which is also the high season. Booking well in advance is imperative during this period to secure your preferred tee time. Golfers who are not staying at a Punta Cana Resort property are limited to later start times.
