How to get there

Just outside Willemstad, the farm is a 20-minute drive from downtown via the Seru Loraweg road. Car rentals are easy to find in Curacao, and provide an excellent option for visitors who want to set their own schedule. Unfortunately, buses don’t run directly to the farm, and taxis outside Willemstad tend to be expensive.

When to get there

Curacao has a warm, tropical climate, and stays comfortable all year round. The dry season runs from February to May, which also tends to be the busiest season. For those who don’t mind rain, the October to December season will be quieter and more affordable. For the farm, check the website to find the best time slot for your tour.

Make a night of it

Curacao Ostrich Farm offers a unique evening out with their African Night experience, a Friday night event that includes a tour of both the ostrich farm and the nearby aloe vera farm, and is followed by a three-course meal at Zambezi. The restaurant is known for highlighting ostrich meat and blending classic African and Dutch flavors, with items such as ostrich croquettes and jollof rice.
