Dream World
62 Moo 1, Rangsit-Ongkharak Road, Bueng Yitho, Thanyaburi, Bangkok, Pathum Thani, 12130
Bangkok’s Dream World is a family-friendly attraction that is popular with locals and sees very few international visitors. The amusement park offers a variety of entertaining live performances, dozens of thrilling rides, and lots of places to try traditional Thai cuisine.
The Basics
Visit Dream World to enjoy roller coasters and water rides as well as little kid attractions like bumper cars and a sightseeing train. Slide down frozen hillsides in Snow Town, and climb furniture in the Giant’s House. The park also offers a variety of shows: See animals do tricks, watch the character-filled Colours of the World Parade, or enjoy the special effects of Hollywood Action, a live performance about a stand-off between SWAT and a terrorist group.
Things to Know Before You Go
Children shorter than 3 feet (90cm) can enter for free.
There are numerous shops and restaurants at the park.
A shuttle service is available with stops at different parts of the park.
How to Get There
Dream World is just north of the Don Mueang International Airport, about a 45-minute taxi ride from the center of Bangkok (without traffic). You can reach the park via Rangsit Road and the Chaengwattana Expressway, or catch public bus number 538 to Dream World from the Victory Monument.
When to Get There
Dream World is open daily, with extended hours on the weekends (when the park is also at its most crowded). Because the park is particularly popular with Thai visitors, it's best to visit when local schools are in session to avoid crowds.
Other Family-Friendly Attractions
Bangkok offers a wide variety of family-friendly activities, including amusement parks and water parks. In addition to Dream World, popular options include the huge Siam Amazing Park—which boasts both an amusement park and a water park, with rides for all ages—and LINE Village, a theme park located right in the heart of the city that features interactive digital games.
Is Dream World Bangkok worth visiting?
Yes, Dream World Bangkok is worth visiting if you like theme parks with rides, shows, and other entertainment or if you’re traveling with kids. The tickets are affordable, and the park includes various fun activities, including a snow park and water play area for cooling off in Bangkok’s heat.

There are 40 rides at Dream World Bangkok, spread across seven different themed zones—from family-friendly to terror-inducing. There are roller coasters, bumper cars, water rides, pirate ships, skiing and sled rides, and much more. As well as the rides, Dream World puts on live shows.
Which is better, Dream World Bangkok or Siam Amazing Park?
Whether you prefer Dream World Bangkok or Siam Amazing Park depends on your interests and priorities. Many consider Dream World better for younger kids, while Siam Amazing Park is better for older kids and adults. But, if convenience is important to you, you may prefer Siam Park as it’s closer to downtown Bangkok.
Do rides cost extra at Dream World Bangkok?

Is one day enough time for Dream World Bangkok?
Yes, one day is usually enough time to explore Dream World Bangkok unless you have a real passion for theme parks. You can easily spend an entire day here, trying out many of the 40 rides, seeing live shows, and cooling off in the water and snow parks. Arrive early (it opens at 10am) to make the most of the day.
What age is best for Dream World Bangkok?
There are rides and attractions at Dream World Bangkok for most ages, but many people consider the theme park best suited to younger kids (under 10 or 12, depending on individual preferences). However, some rides have height restrictions, so younger kids can’t participate in everything here.
