How to Get There
El Milongón a 30-minute walk from both Montevideo’s Old Town and Barrio Sur, and many visitors will find it easiest to make their way to the venue on foot. El Milongón is also surrounded by multiple public transport stops—check the schedules and route most appropriate for you departure point.
When to Get There
Doors open to the public at 8:30pm Monday through Saturday, and the performance begins at 9:30pm. Arrive early to grab the best seats in the house—unless you have prepaid for your tickets and reserved seats in advance—and enjoy a glass of Uruguayan wine before the performance begins.
