The ExCel London website features a calendar of all its upcoming events, which last from a few hours to several months. Prepare for plenty of walking when you visit this enormous space, which spans more than 1,000,000 square feet (100,000 square meters). There are plenty of places to eat inside, ranging from coffee shops and fast food options to Mexican restaurants and cocktail bars.

How to get there
The closest station to ExCel London is Custom House, a 5-minute walk away; it’s on the DLR and Elizabeth lines. The center is also close to the CS3 cycle super highway, a biking lane from Barking to Tower Gateway. If you plan to drive, there’s a parking lot on-site.

The opening hours of the ExCel center depend on the event it is hosting. While most conferences, conventions, and exhibitions take place during the day all week, some events take place after dark. Check the schedule online for specific hours.
What to do near ExCel London
Just a 10-minute walk from ExCel London is the IFS Cloud Cable Car, which lets you soar 295 feet (90 meters) over the capital’s skyline. On a clear day, you’ll be able to spot London landmarks such as the O2 Arena, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and The Gherkin. Plus, at the end of your ride, you can visit the free London Cable Car Experience, home to a virtual reality experience and the Selfie Factory.
