The basics

Regardless of your experience, Flow House Bangkok welcomes surfers of all skill levels. You can book a shared session to master the basics or improve your technique, or opt for a private lesson to get undivided attention from an instructor. The club also offers multi-day packages if you’re looking to surf more than once. When you need a break (or you’re here as a spectator), there’s also a sports bar, restaurant, and observation deck.

Things to know before you go

• The sports bar at Flow House serves up French fries and chicken nuggets, while the restaurant offers traditional Thai cuisine.
• There’s a surf shop at the club where you can buy clothing and accessories from top surf brands.
• Flow House is family-friendly—kids can take lessons and adults can accompany them on the FlowRider.
• You can buy photos of you riding the artificial wave for an extra fee, or just sit and watch your companions ride the flow from the coffee shop viewing area.

How to get there

Flow House Bangkok is in the A Square Community Mall on 120/1 Sukhumvit 26, one of Bangkok’s major streets. The nearest BTS Skytrain station is Phrom Phong, on the Sukhumvit Line, which is only a few minutes’ walk from the club.

When to get there

Flow House Bangkok is open from Monday through Sunday, from mid-morning until late in the evening. Between Monday and Wednesday, it opens an hour later. The club hosts competitions throughout the year, for all ages and abilities, so check the website to see when they’re on.

Surfing in Thailand

Just a few hours away, you’ll find Hua Hun, where gentle waves prove perfect for beginners. Down on the south coast, Phuket draws intermediate surfers with its spot-on swell—it’s only a 1-hour flight from the city.
