Though only a 10-minute boat ride from the bustle of Patong, Freedom Beach feels like a remote island. Known as Hidden Beach, the white sands of Freedom Beach offer a far quieter alternative to Phuket’s other beaches. Forested hills, palm trees, and translucent waters provide a scenic backdrop to the sands.
The basics

How to get there
The easiest way to reach Freedom Beach is by longtail boat from the southern end of Patong beach. The beach is also accessible by car, with a public parking lot a short—but challenging—walk from the bay near Avista Hideaway Resort.
When to get there
Though Freedom Beach is open for 24 hours per day, the best time to visit southern Thailand is between November and April, where rain is highly unlikely and calm weather conditions are ideal for swimming.
