Fun Spot America Theme Parks

5700 Fun Spot Way, Orlando, Florida

Fun Spot is a locally-owned Central Florida amusement park and entertainment center with locations in Orlando, Kissimmee, and Atlanta. This family-friendly destination opened in 1997 and its Kissimmee branch boasts the world’s tallest skycoaster at 300 feet (90 meters) while Fun Spot Orlando has the only wooden roller coaster in Orlando. Fun Spot Orlando has a splash pad and a wildlife oasis with birds, alligators, and other reptiles.

Don’t discredit Fun Spot as merely a roadside attraction. These exciting spaces offer midway games and free events to pair with their thrill rides and go kart tracks. Add in shorter wait times, longer operating hours, and cheaper tickets compared to the larger theme parks and you’ve got an affordable, accessible day. With indoor and outdoor attractions, Fun Spot is a great year-round attraction even when it’s a little chilly or rainy.

To maximize your fun in Orlando, search for tourist passes that combine multiple attraction admission tickets into a single pass. Some passes may include free meals for children while others let you choose a set number of attractions to visit across several days, which saves you money in the long run.

  • Parking and admission to both parks is free; all games and rides can be paid for individually or with day passes.

  • Both locations feature multiple food options, as well as full-day dining plans.

  • Each park also features rides designed for children at a minimum height of 24”

Fun Spot Orlando is located at 5700 Fun Spot Way, near Interstate 4 and Universal Studios Florida. Fun Spot Kissimmee is located at 2850 Florida Plaza Boulevard next to Old Town. Getting to both locations is relatively easy, even walkable if your hotel is close by, though most visitors use a private car. Rideshares and taxis are available, plus Lynx bus lines 8, 37, 42, 55, and 56 serve these locations.

As with all Central Florida entertainment areas, crowds are common. Get there around opening times if you want to limit ride queue wait times. Keep in mind that these are outdoor amusement parks so sun and rain exposure are prevalent, especially in the summer months. Typically late operating hours offer an option to visit after sunset for a cooler, though likely still crowded, experience.

Adults who are keen to put their feet up under the sun should look to the cabana rental at Fun Spot Orlando. An all day rental includes a lounger, tables and chairs, water bottles and a private refrigerator, a ceiling fan, safe, and more. Parents can kick back and relax in the shade while the kids safely explore the park.
