Game of Thrones Studio Tour
The Boulevard Cascum Road, Banbridge, County Down, BT32 4LF
Set at Linen Mill Studios, where some of Game of Thrones was filmed, Game of Thrones Studio Tour offers insights into the craft, sets, makeup, costumes, prosthetics, and special effects that shaped the iconic TV series. The 110,000-square-foot (10,200-square-meter) attraction boasts a wealth of photo ops, including one atop the Iron Throne.
The basics
Tickets for Game of Thrones Studio Tour must be booked in advance for specific time slots. The experience is self-guided, with audio guides available (fee). It begins with a green screen photo opportunity and a video introduction and progresses through a range of themed areas. Interactive opportunities run from creating your own house crest to adding your face to Braavos’ eerie Hall of Faces and handling weaponry. Friendly staff are happy to discuss the show.
All tickets include a shuttle bus transfer from the parking lot to the studio. You can book round-trip coach transfers from central Dublin or central Belfast with your ticket as well. Game of Thrones Studio Tour is a popular stop on GoT-themed tours of Northern Ireland, and it’s sometimes also possible to book packages with transfers direct from your Belfast accommodation.
