The basics
Luxury enthusiasts often visit Ginza Mitsukoshi during private Tokyo shopping tours. These tours usually transport you in high style to major department stores (also including Ginza Six) with a fully customizable itinerary. Some travelers also pass by the building—without stopping to shop—on various Tokyo walking tours, such as those focused on architectural highlights or top landmarks in different neighborhoods, with Ginza being a key part of the route.

When to get there
For the best experience at Ginza Mitsukoshi, visit in the morning or early evening, when the store is less crowded. Weekdays tend to be quieter than weekends, which see an influx of shoppers.
