This 70,000-square-foot (6,500-square-meter) indoor entertainment complex is packed with interactive games. Entertain yourself with video games and arcade classics such as ring toss, air hockey, and Skee-Ball, and enjoy motion simulators and virtual reality rides. Some games distribute tickets to winners, which can be redeemed for prizes.
The Great Canadian Midway is free to enter, though you need to purchase tokens to play the games. Tokens can be bought online in advance, at on-site cash-only machines, and from cashiers. The Great Canadian Midway is open daily, from early until late at night. It's busiest on weekends. Come on a midweek morning to avoid the crowds.
The Great Canadian Midway is home to several amusement park rides, some of which are included as part of the Clifton Hill FunPass. Ride from ghoul-filled room to room on Ghost Blasters, shooting down phantoms with your very own laser gun, or feel the thrill of the Wild West Coaster, a motion simulator ride that uses stereoscopic imaging, moving seats, and special wind and light effects.
