Things to know before you go
For duty-free shopping, you’ll need proof of your status as a traveler. A ticket and ID works.
Slather on the sunscreen—the complex includes an outdoor thoroughfare.
For items including liquor, perfume, and cigars, the duty-free bag must remain closed until you return home or the items will be seized.
How to get there
Heritage Quay is located between the Promenade Cruise Port and the Antigua Cruise Port, from where a majority of its visitors arrive. For those located elsewhere, taxis are readily available around St John’s; however the buses tend to be unreliable.
When to get there
The complex is open seven days a week, so you can visit whenever you find yourself in St. John’s. It tends to get busy when the cruise ships dock; pay attention to the cruise ports to see if you can visit in a quiet period. If you’re not interested in shopping, stop by in the evening for dinner, drinks, and music.

After you’ve shopped to your heart’s content, head to the bustling King’s Casino to keep the adventure going. Located just off the Quay, the casino is a favorite spot for visitors.
