Simply the Hugh Lane to locals, the gallery is also home to a re-created studio of Francis Bacon, an Irish-born painter who earned international acclaim for his work.

Visit this gallery any day of the week except for Monday, when it is closed. Admission is free and opening hours vary slightly depending on the day of the week, so check the gallery’s website in advance. Sunday is a nice day to visit for music fans who are interested in attending the noon concert in the sculpture hall.
