Visiting KSL City Mall can fit easily into any visit to Johor Bahru. You can spend a few hours here, whether to escape the weather, sit and relax, or grab some comfort food. The mall can offer a quiet afternoon activity after sightseeing, or as somewhere to kill time before traveling onward to Singapore or destinations in Malaysia.
Things to know before you go
The main entrance, which is wheelchair accessible, is on the mall’s eastern side. A small food court is found on the western side of the mall, with several stands selling durian. The mall has its own hotel resort with a rooftop pool.
How to get there
The KSL City Mall is located north of Bandar Johor Bahru in the neighborhood of Taman Abad. Travelers can take various local buses to the Cristal Crown bus stop on the Tebrau Highway, which is a short walk to the mall. Otherwise, it’s easiest to just take a rideshare or taxi, especially when coming from outer parts of the city, such as LEGOLAND® Malaysia.
When to get there
Doors open to the KSL City Mall daily from the mid-morning until late in the evening. Businesses may have their own opening hours, but most match those of the mall. Come in the morning for a quieter shopping experience as it tends to get busier in the late afternoon and early evening.
