LEGOLAND® Malaysia

With dozens of rides, LEGOLAND® Malaysia is the country’s first international theme park and one of Kuala Lumpur’s top destinations for families. Highlights include a water park with almost 20 slides, and Miniland, where more than 30 million LEGO® bricks were used to recreate Asian landmarks. 

The basics

LEGOLAND Malaysia offers thrills for visitors of all ages. Check out ninja-inspired models and rides in the NINJAGO® area; speed away on a roller coaster with virtual reality headsets; or earn a LEGO driver’s license. Buy separate tickets for the theme park, water park, and SEA LIFE® aquarium, or opt for a combo deal granting you entry to all three attractions at a discounted rate. Some packages include round-trip transport from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

Things to know before you go

  • LEGOLAND Malaysia has several restaurants and snack bars serving everything from noodles to burgers and pizza. 
  • LEGOLAND theme parks are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. 
  • Credit cards are accepted within the park, and there are a couple of ATMs.
  • The restrooms have baby changing facilities. 
  • Gift shops sell LEGO-themed souvenirs and toys. 

How to get there

Located in Iskandar Puteri, to the west of Johor Bahru, LEGOLAND Malaysia is about a 1-hour drive from Singapore Changi Airport and around 20 minutes from Senai International Airport. 

When to get there

LEGOLAND Malaysia is typically open daily, all year round. Southern Malaysia’s monsoon season is May through September—visit at another time of year for the best chance of dry weather. 

Staying at LEGOLAND Malaysia

For the ultimate experience, stay overnight at the LEGOLAND Hotel, designed with children in mind. Step through the dragon-guarded entrance into the lobby, where you’ll find a LEGO pirate ship and LEGO castle. Rooms are decorated in four different themes: pirates, adventure, kings, and ninjas.
