Lladró Museum
Calle Alboraia, 46016, Tavernes Blanques, Valencia, 46016
Founded in 1953 and now known worldwide, Lladró is celebrated for its high-end porcelain pieces. Perfect for fans of the brand, the Lladró Museum, located north of Valencia, hosts two exhibition areas. Visitors can also tour the Lladró factory to meet the artisan producers and see how Lladró’s sculptures are made.
The basics
Founded by Juán, José, and Vicente Lladró in the town of Almàssera, Lladró quickly earned renown for its decorative porcelain figurines and sculptures, many of which were produced in very limited runs. Today, the brand is celebrated worldwide, and fans can visit the Lladró Museum to learn about its beginnings. The museum’s exhibitions include porcelain pieces now retired from production and rare paintings by artists like Rubens and El Greco.
On a guided tour, visitors can learn more about the production process and the brand’s history and explore the adjacent factory to see how pieces are made. Some tours depart from central Valencia, making logistics easy.
