Marché Forville is one of Cannes' most popular foodie stops and a highlight of food and sightseeing tours. Marché Forville sits in the heart of Le Suquet, the old town of Cannes. When to get there

The market is open each morning in July and August and Tuesday through Sunday mornings for the remainder of the year. Crowds begin to fill the market aisles by late morning, so visit just as the market opens to see the vendors setting up their stands and browse in relative peace.

Though the market has an entire section dedicated to fresh fish and meat, you probably won’t be able to take advantage of any options that call for a kitchen. For souvenirs that can be taken home, opt for extra virgin olive oil, wine, honey and jam, packaged herbs and spices, flavored vinegar, coffee and tea, dried pasta, and candy and chocolate. As a rule, meat products, cheeses, and fresh fruit and vegetables are not allowed as cross-border souvenirs.
