Micropia
Plantage Kerklaan 38-40, Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1018 CZ
Micropia is the first museum in the world dedicated solely to microscopic organisms. While bacteria and viruses are often associated with illness and disease, Micropia’s main goal is to enlighten visitors on the positive role microbes play in our daily life—challenging the worldviews of even the biggest germophobe. This fun and interactive museum is equally intriguing for both young and old.

Micropia is also within walking distance of the Jewish Historical Museum, Tropenmuseum, and the famed Waterlooplein Market.
When to get there
