How to get there
The easiest way to reach Milsom Street is on foot—it’s a 12-minute walk from Bath Spa Railway Station, a 10-minute walk from Bath Bus Station, and a 5-minute walk from the Roman Baths. You can also take the #231 bus from Bath Bus Station to Broad Street, and then Milsom Street is a short walk away, if you walk along Green Street.
When to get there
Since Milsom Street is a popular shopping destination, it can get busy on the weekends, especially in the afternoons. If you want a crowd-free shopping experience, it’s best to come on a weekday, ideally in the morning when the shops open, or later in the afternoon. It’s also a great place to come in December, when it’s particularly atmospheric with the Christmas lights.
