One of Benidorm’s most popular theme parks, MundoMar is a fun and educational animal park designed to entertain visitors of all ages. Located just next door to the Aqualandia water park, MundoMar is home to dozens of animal species—from dolphins to lemurs—and offers hands-on learning activities.
The basics
Home to upwards of 30 different species (including dolphins, sea lions, reptiles, parrots, and monkeys), MundoMar is a wide-ranging animal park that educates visitors about marine and land wildlife and their habitats. Various performances throughout the day, live animal feedings, and keeper-for-a-day experiences are designed to bridge the human and animal worlds, and teach younger visitors about the resident species.
You can purchase your tickets in advance via MundoMar’s website; various ticketing packages and options are available, depending on your group’s size and preferences.
Things to know before you go
*MundoMar is accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, and has wheelchairs available to rent.
*There are several eateries on-site, as well as a souvenir shop.
*Electric scooters can be rented for a small fee.
*Both visitors with disabilities and groups receive discounted entry, and admission is free for children under 4.
*The park has a picnic zone for those who wish to bring in outside food and drinks; no glasses or cans are permitted.
How to get there
MundoMar is a 10-minute drive from central Benidorm, and free parking is available on-site. The park can also be reached by tram or the 11 or 47 bus.
When to get there
MundoMar is open from early April to early November, from morning to evening (and stays open a bit later in the summer). Performances and activities are hosted throughout the day.
Aqualandia
One of Spain’s oldest and largest water parks, Aqualandia is home to dozens of waterslides, pools, and other aquatic activities designed for visitors of all ages. Since it's adjacent to MundoMar (with the two parks sharing a parking lot), combination tickets make it easy to explore both.
