How to get there

From the center of Barranquilla, Museo del Carnaval is around 1.8 miles (3 kilometers). The easiest way to arrive is by car via Av. 11 de Noviembre, which should take around 10 minutes from the center. Rideshares are readily available.

When to get there

Museo del Carnaval is open from Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Mondays. It is typically open from morning until midday and then closes for lunch for two hours before reopening for two hours in the afternoon. Barranquilla Carnival takes place on the four days preceding Lent every year.
