MyZeil
Zeil 106, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 60313
MyZeil is a large modern mall in central Frankfurt, which is a popular shopping and dining destination. With around 80 stores over eight floors, there are plenty of international brands and eateries, as well as German favorites. The glass structure and long, unsupported indoor escalator, make it an attractive place to visit, too.
The basics
Whether you’re looking to buy a new outfit for a special occasion, are souvenir shopping, or just want a good lunch or dinner, MyZeil offers lots of shopping and dining options. The mall is one of the largest in Germany and has won architecture awards for its innovative design. Visitors can also admire the views of the Frankfurt skyline from the upper floors.
Most people visit independently, but some guided tours of Frankfurt, including walking tours, may pass the building as the glass structure is celebrated for its architecture.
Things to know before you go
MyZeil has facilities that make it accessible for many people, including barrier-free parking and bathrooms, nursing rooms, women’s parking, and electric car charging stations.
Each floor at MyZeil is dedicated to a different type of retailer, so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for.
ATMs are located throughout the center.
How to get there
MyZeil is conveniently located in central Frankfurt, about a 10-minutes walk north of Frankfurt Cathedral. It’s easy to reach by public transport and the U-Bahn Hauptwache stop is closest. If you’re driving, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding parking as there are 1,500 spaces at its underground parking building.
When to get there
MyZeil is open daily from morning until evening, with slightly extended hours on the weekend. Some businesses may operate different hours, especially restaurants, which often stay open later in the evening. The mall is closed on select German public holidays.
Offbeat shopping experiences in Frankfurt
MyZeil meets your modern shopping needs, but if you’re looking for more offbeat options in Frankfurt beyond the big brands, there are plenty of opportunities. Buy local food produce at Kleinmarkthalle, search for bargains at the Museumsufer Flea Market, and go thrifting in the Sachsenhausen neighborhood.
