If you’re visiting Columbus during the NHL season—typically from October to April—it’s worth attempting to get tickets to a Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena. But even if not, the stadium hosts a packed calendar of events and performances throughout the year. Major touring artists perform there, so it’s always worth seeing what’s on.

The venue is also featured on sightseeing tours of Columbus, and is a highlight of the Arena District. While in the lively neighborhood, you can also spot attractions like Huntington Park (home to the Columbus Clippers Minor League Baseball team) and the popular North Market, a historic covered market.

• Most bags are not permitted in the stadium; paid lockers are available for select personal items.

How to get there

Nationwide Arena is in downtown Columbus’ Arena District. Parking garages and lots are in the area if you plan to drive. You can also get there by bus, or opt for a taxi or rideshare service.

Huntington Park

Another magnet for sports fans in Columbus’ Arena District, Huntington Park is the city’s largest dedicated baseball stadium. Constructed in 2007 and home to the popular Columbus Clippers Minor League Baseball team, it’s a great place to catch a game in the summer, and it also hosts concerts and other events.
