In the heart of Bali’s chic Seminyak district, Nyaman Gallery curates contemporary work from both Balinese and international artists. Multimedia pieces depict scenes of travel, personal growth, and Balinese culture and heritage, while more traditional objects feature woven wire, wood, bronze, and batik (a Javanese technique of applying dye to a cloth using a wax template).

Things to know before you go
The first floor of the gallery is wheelchair accessible, but the workshop space on the second floor is not.

How to get there
Nyaman Gallery is at 88 Jalan Raya Basangkasa in Seminyak, Bali. It's a couple of minutes’ walk from the busy Jalan Sunset Road, which has a wealth of shops, restaurants, and brunch spots. The best way to go is by walking or using rideshare services such as Grab and Gojek.
When to get there
The gallery is open daily from morning to mid-evening. Balinese and Hindu holidays such as Nyepi (Day of Silence) might mean the gallery closes. The best time to visit Bali in general is during the dry season from April through October.
